House cleaners
A lead call checklist for house cleaners
Questions that help cleaning businesses quote accurately and arrive prepared for the first appointment.
Understand the home
Ask for the address, approximate square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and whether the home is occupied. Find out about pets, stairs, parking, building access, and any rooms the customer wants excluded.
Clarify the type of clean
A recurring clean, deep clean, move-out clean, and post-construction clean require different time and supplies. Ask when the home was last professionally cleaned and which areas concern the customer most. Do not assume every customer means the same thing by “deep clean.”
Confirm access and timing
Record the preferred date, arrival window, entry instructions, and who will be home. Repeat any alarm, key, or concierge instructions. Send the final appointment details in writing so both sides can check them before the visit.
