Follow-up
How to follow up after a customer call
A short follow-up process that confirms details and gives the customer one clear next step.
Send a recap while the call is fresh
A short text or email can confirm the service address, requested work, appointment time, and next step. Keep it brief. The goal is to catch misunderstandings before they reach the schedule or estimate.
State what you will do next
Tell the customer whether you will send an estimate, request photos, visit the property, or call back. Include a realistic time. If you need something from the customer, ask for one clear item rather than sending a long list.
Keep the promise visible
Move your commitment into a calendar, task list, or job system. Do not rely on the sent message as your reminder. The customer sees the promise; your task system makes sure you keep it.
Keep the details without taking notes
NotesNumber sends your call transcript, summary, and action items to your email after the call.
