A simple customer call notes template

A compact call-note format for service address, requested work, timing, price details, and next actions.

The five fields to capture

Record the customer’s name and contact details, service address, requested work, timing, and the agreed next step. Add access details, measurements, budget, or photos only when they matter to the job.

Write actions as commands

Turn “customer asked about Tuesday” into “Check Tuesday schedule and call customer by 3 p.m.” Clear verbs make notes easier to act on. If there is no next step, write that down too.

Keep the original conversation

A template makes calls easy to scan, but it can leave out context. Keep the transcript or recording with the summary when appropriate, then verify important names, numbers, and commitments before using them.

Keep the details without taking notes

NotesNumber sends your call transcript, summary, and action items to your email after the call.
